Popular Canadian internet show Pure Pwnage is getting alot of attention on Viacoms newly acquired Gaming portal Xfire. This brought me to think since Viacom also owns MTV Networks.
Will Pure Pwnage appear on MTV.?
Clues at to why this could happen:
The massive attention:
They have their own subsite on Xfire's homepage; Xfire is hosting a chat with the cast from Pure Pwnage, and they're hosting every single episode of Pure Pwnage.
The Money:
This is probably the most important factor;
Since day 1 where Pure Pwnage had almost no budget, the fan base has been growing.
In fact now with Pure Pwnage episode 11 coming up june 21. The show has more viewers than most Canadian tv shows, which is pretty impressive for an internet show. The show has a world wide fanbase, centered at the Pure Pwnage forums. Each episode now has literally millions of downloads.
